The Arctic Polar Bears Quilt
Finished Quilt Size: 45″ by 55″
Here’s a new finished quilt that I made, in an attempt to be “gender neutral.” I used Elizabeth Hartman’s Arctic Fabric and the quilt pattern is a simple a 9-patch that cuts up into smaller quilt blocks. It’s a neat quilter’s trick and you’ll have to see my free quilt tutorial on how to make it. It’s quick, easy, and I know you’ll enjoy it!
Cute little icy polar bears smiling at you on the backing fabric. The binding is called “Evening Abstract Dots Fabric” by Robert Kaufman. It looks like snow and makes for very pretty quilt binding.
My favorite little quilt model, always ready for a photo shoot! He helps me hold and model the quilt, even looks for perfect spots with ideal lighting!
Why is it that whenever I am trying to arrange the quilt blocks for the layout, I get furry volunteers that fight over who gets to help me?
And when we’re done we’re the layout process, they think it’s time to rest and relax on it. How will I ever get any work done around here?
At last, some progress! Getting some sewing done!
I love these tiny smiles!
He always know when a quilt is done. He wants to be the first to cozy up to it!
