The weather has been a little chilly so I wanted to make something warm for Miss Kayla, who’s now 6 months old! I made the easiest baby blanket in the world and only took 30 minutes to sew together! It’s one side cotton fabric, and the other side comfy cozy minky fabric!
If you want to make one too, I have a full tutorial here on the blog. It’s easy – try it! I think you’ll like it! :-) See it here: Minky Baby Blanket Tutorial
Do you love the fabric print?! Since many of Kayla’s things are fox-themed, I thought this fabric would be so cute for her! It’s Kayla and the fox! With balloons! Ahhh! Just too cute!!!
Here’s a close-up of the fabric print, and the top-stitching. I doubled up on the stitching to make extra sure you always know where the edges are. There is no interface in between the blanket layers. You really don’t need it.
I wrapped it around her for some photos. Love how she just stares at the camera when she sees one pointing at her!
Ahh, there’s that sweet smile I’ve been waiting for!
Hope you’re all staying warm this winter! ☃️ Thanks for letting me share today! -Susie
