This quilt came together so fast!  It was a fun one to sew – just jelly roll strips sewn together.  I zipped right through it on my sewing machine!

Don’t you just love the fabric?  It’s by Allison Harris from Cluck Cluck Sew for Windham Fabrics.  LOVE the big sunflowers and tiny apples!

Here’s a peek at the backing.  A nice sunshiney honeycomb yellow!  All the colors make me so happy!

I kept the quilting to a minimum to keep the quilt lightweight.  I think I want to keep it light from now on; not too dense.  The quilts drape in a prettier way.  At least, I prefer it this way.

The colors are great in this quilt.  The sunflower prints and bright colors make me feel like going out and having a picnic with my little boy today.  It was sprinkling a bit yesterday but the skies have cleared up wonderfully this morning.  Looks like we’ll be spending the day at the park!
